Sheet Masks Review: My Scheming Aloe Vera Vitamin E and Naruko Narcissus Repairing mask

Sheet mask are my all time easy at-home pampering choice. There are many sheet masks out there that I love and would repurchase anytime. If I had the time I would review them all, but well its not possible, so I decide that I would do (mini) reviews of 2,3 or 4 sheet masks in one post.

Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream

There was a time when I thought that eye creams should be part of a skincare routine, and using a regular face cream for under the eye area would be a no-no. This was before my AB (Asian beauty) time, my main reasoning was that most regular moisturizers irritate my eyes so eye creams are the only thing that could work there. Still, I have to admit that many eye creams gave me rabbit eyes, it was not easy for me to find a non irritating eye cream. After committing to an AB routine I realized that many products I use for my face, like my Sum37 time energy emulsion and Benton Aloe Propolis gel, also work good by moisturizing my under eye area without irritating it.

COSRX Centella Blemish cream - a multi functional spot treatment.

I'm back again with yet another Cosrx product review, the COSRX Centella Blemish cream. Acne isn't my main concern anymore, but I still need spot treatments to prevent occasional hormonal breakouts and random pimples. Cosrx products are for me like the 'all time safe' choices, if I have the feeling like my skin is out of balance (breakouts, dryness etc) I can always count on Cosrx products to restore my skin, with ingredients such as snail, propolis, hyaluronic acid, aloe, BHA, and AHA.

Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask

Just like sheet masks, sleeping masks have become a part of my 'self spa' treatments. With the 'self spa' I mean products that provide my skin with that something extra, in addition to my regular skincare routine. Of course they don't replace real salon facials, but sometimes I just wonder if these regular facial at the salon really make a difference, expect the extractions part. Maybe my money would be better spend by buying more products? Okay, now I really sound like a skincare addict.

Mini review: Sulwhasoo Essentrue Body Serum and Whoo SPAA moisturizer

What do you use to hydrate and moisturize your body skin? If you have a dry skin type (face) chances are your 'body skin' is no different. My skin is dry in general so I always have to use some kind of body moisturizer. In the spring / summer I like to use a very lightweight cream that absorbs fast, my skin is already sweating so no need to clog it with heavy creams. In the winter time a more rich body moisturizer feels good on my dry skin, but shouldn't be to sticky.

Spot treatment - COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch

I suffer from occasional acne, which can include inflamed cyst (1-2  cysts a month), whiteheads and red 'raised' bumps. I had lots of them during my puberty, but I got older and my skin changed as well as my skincare regime. Still, I have occasional local outbreaks, mainly on my cheeks and sometimes forehead. Most of you have experienced acne/pimples at some point, so you can imagine how frustrating it can be. There are some options to treat (not prevent in this case)  pimples, my favorite is spot treatment with pink powders. One recent discovery are anti-acne blemish patches!

My Korean Skincare Routine

Korean skincare really changed the way I care about my skin. I have learned more about my skin and also the science behind skincare. My skin is nowhere near perfection but improved a lot since I started building a Korean skincare regime, which is changing constantly, evolving! Depending on my skin needs I drop or add skincare products customizing my routine.

Natural Vitamin 21.5 Enhancing Sheet Mask

I'm a huge fan of sheet masks, they are an important part of my Korean / Asian skincare routine. I use them 4-5 times a week, mainly in the evening but also sometimes in the morning together with my AM routine. One of my holy grail skin care products is the Vitamin C 21.5 serum (see review here). So imagine my excitement  when I heard that Wishtrend was coming out with a new sheet mask, the C20 Natural Vitamin 21.5!

COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid

For someone who suffers from acne, chemical exfoliation should be an important part of  skincare. But if you are like me, have both acne prone, dehydrated  and sensitive skin then using chemical exfoliation products can be problematic. I tried some regular exfoliating toners before (from Murad not Paulsa choice), every time my skin got irritated, itchy and broke out, it was just crazy as hell. I started looking for an alternative, something milder and with my love for koreanbeauty found the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid

Berrisom My Lip Tint pack - a tattoo like lip stain

I'm a fan of lip products, especially lipsticks, but sometimes it can become to boring, a lipstick stays a lipstick. I think we need innovation in the make up industry just as everywhere else. Nobody does it better than South Korea, the country with the most innovative beauty concepts. I have lately been obsessed with the Berrisom My Lip Tint pack, a 'tattoo' like lip product that leaves a tint for the entire day!

Klairs Supple Illuminating blemish Cream - Review

When I first heard of the Klairs Supple Illuminating blemish cream spf 40 Pa ++ (25$), I wanted to have one because of (the promised) multi functionality of the product. Okay, lets be honest, by definition we expect a BB cream to be multi functional, but of course that's not always the case. The Klairs Supple Illuminating BB cream was massively advertised by Wishtrend as their bestselling product and very much loved by bloggers.

NUXE Reve de Miel lip balm - for chapped dry lips

Since I have really chapped lips I'm always on the look for a good lip balm. I'm not a big fan of regular lip balms, I find they do just the opposite, dry out the lips over a period of time. Over the years I found out that there are not more than a handful of lip products that work for me. Its actually so difficult to find something to combat the dryness of my lips. I was hopeless, constant biting my lips, some lip balms did a decent job (review Caudalie lip balm) but still not enough for the dryness. Things changed when I finally tried the Nuxe Reve Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm. It is together with the Nuxe prodigieuse oil (review here) my holy grail Nuxe product.

The Mizon Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot treatment

My skincare routine is pretty stable now and I have my dehydrated acne prone skin more or less under control. However, this doesn't mean that I'm spot free, depending on the weather, stress and hormonal level I will occasionally get cysts, pimples and whiteheads. A few years back I used to pick on my spots, I know very stupid, this increased inflammation and scarring. Luckily, I learned to stay away from them no matter what. So how do I deal with them now? The answer is spot treatment! Not everybody is a fan of spot treatments, many find it to drying, but for me its the only thing that drys out inflamed cysts. My firsts spot treatment was the famous one from Mario Badescu, later I moved on to Korean brands. Enca drying pinky powder and AC Clearing overnight spot are two spot treatments that I got from Wishtrend (see my Wishtrend haul post here) are now 'empties' on my dress-table, yes they are empty more precise the liquid is gone. A recent addition to my collection is the Mizon Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot

Let your skin glow with NUXE Huile Prodigieuse OR - The summer musthave

The NUXE Huile Prodigieuse just screams summer, healthy glow, buy me..! The product has real cult status in France and abroad, everybody has heard of it at some point. So far, it has been my favorite summer oil, always with me when on the go. The oil comes actually in two versions: a regular version without the shimmer, and the here reviewed  "D'Or" version containing gold shimmer flecks.

The sunscreen for the summer - Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF50 PA ++++

Forget about creams and cosmetic procedures, sun protection is the most important anti aging product one must use. I spend my holiday this year together with Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF50 PA ++++ sunscreen (8$), we were inseparable...

Benton skin care - the good and the bad

Something I wanted do to for while now is review Benton skin care products. More than a year ago I was religiously using Benton, the Aloe PropolisSoothing Gel (17$), Snail Bee High Content Essence (18$), and Snail Bee High Content cream (11$), for over three months. I was at the beginning of my AB skincare journey (Korean skincare routine), before Benton I used AB trial sets and Hada Labo products. Back then my skin care routine consisted of cleansing gel + Bioderma micellar water  (not AB product), Hada Labo toner, Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel, Snail Bee High Content Essence and Snail Bee High Content cream.

Dry or Dehydrated skin? Skins acid mantle and Asian skin care products...

Do you know what type skin type you have, is it dry or dehydrated? There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding this topic. It’s time to talk about dehydration in today’s post. Dehydration used to be my mainly concern but my Korean skincare routine saved my skin from dehydration.

Pure Vitamin C21.5 Advanced Serum - a review of my Holy Grail serum!

Today’s post is special, I will review one of my all-time favorite skin care products;  the famous Pure Vitamin OST C C21.5 Advanced Serum. Chances are you have already heard about it, a very popular Korean vitamin C serum at the moment. You can buy it at Wishtrend for 29.99$, now 24.99$ on Wishtrend + free shipping.

I can’t wait to rave about it ) I have been using the serum for about 2-3 months and its long enough to write a honest and extensive review . Actually,  I’m half way through  my second bottle right now.

MISSHA Ginger and Vinegar baby foot peeling mask - get rid of dry summer feet

Today it’s about feet – I will review the MISSHA Ginger and Vinegar foot peeling mask. Something I have been wanting to try for a long time are Asian foot peeling masks. I have tried many scrubs and foot creams, but was never satisfied with the results. Our feet are natural dry and in the summer it gets worse,  its sandal season and hot outside! So how to get rid of dry cracked skin? I couldn’t wait to try out a foot peeling mask, seeing all the before and after pictures, of shading skin, made me very excited to try it out.

My Scheming Crystal Q10 elastin eye mask

I woke up this morning with raccoon swollen eyes, probably due to lake of sleep. Unfortunately, my eyes are always kind of in a bad shape and they are so sensitive to the environment, it runs in our family. Having sensitive eyes I always try to properly moisturize the eye area and occasionally use cool/hot, gel masks etc. I bought a pack of My Scheming sheet masks and eye masks a while ago. Today I decided to use one of the My Scheming eye masks included, the Crystal Q10 Elastin Eye mask.

Kanebo Sensai Deep Moist Shine Rouge - perfect for healthy hydrated lips

I have something of a lipstick obsession; if you would take a look at my make up collection almost 1/3 consist of lip products, in all colors and forms. We all have favorite lipsticks from a particular brand, be it Chanel, Loreal or Tom Ford. My favorites are from Kanebo Sensai, I think Sensai has the best lip products). My current favorite, for soft and hydrated lips, is the Kanebo Sensai Deep Moist Shine Rouge in shade MS109 UME Kasane ($40).

Enca AC Control Total concealer - for sensitive acne prone skin

Hi everyone! Today I will review the Enca AC Control Total concealer (19$)  from Wishtrend, which was part  of my latest wishtrend haul! The Enca concealer caught my eye a while ago so I was very happy to see it in the wishbox No.34. My skin is very sensitive, if I use concealers on pimples or marks they mostly get worse  - inflamed and/or irritated.

Versatile Blogger Award

Today's post is not a review, I was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by Caitlin ! check out here blog its really amazing! Thanks, it’s my first post of that kind and my first nomination.

MISSHA Black Ghassoul Tightening Mask - a must have clay mask for oily/combination skin

If you have sensitive, acne-prone skin like me then you know how difficult it to take care of your skin and try out new products, before you know you will experience some kind of breakout, either due to whether, hormones, cosmetics or some other unknown reasons. In case that happens I have few SOS spot treatments and masks that I occasionally use. One of these products is the MISSHA Black Ghassoul Tightening Mask

Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser for oily skin with Saw Palmetto and Mint

I tried some products of Origins and become quit a fan of the brand. I am slowly building up my collection of Origins skincare. I like the idea behind the brand “all things natural” and the products seem to work well on my skin. My skin has been somewhat sensitive in the last couple of weeks so I decided it was time for a new cleanser.

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Sheet Mask

Oshima Tsubaki - Japanese Camellia Hair Care Oil for dry demaged hair and scalp

Hair oils are a must-have for my hair since it's dry and frizzy most of the time. I like my hair texture in general, it's curly and has a lot of volume, but it's such a pain to take care of. I have tried several oils for my hair from coconut to argan oil, which is my favorite. Now I'm using Camellia oil all the way from Japan - the Oshima Tsubaki oil.

A must-have sunscreen - Hada Labo UV Moist Emulsion SPF 50+ PA +++

Chanel Gommage Microperlé Purete facial scrub

I have the Chanel Gommage Microperlé Purete facial scrub for a while now. Before undergoing microdermabrasion and TCA peelings I was always looking for facial exfoliation gels do get rid of death skin and clogged pores. It turned out to be not an effective method for me, but I still like to use facial scrubs to better clean my face and have light exfoliation. The Chanel Gommage Microperlé purete

Where to buy Korean beauty products

I you like me love Korean beauty products but you don’t live in Korea (Asia), you may be asking yourself how to get your hands on them. I personally think there is something special about Korean beauty products, they have a different approach compared to western brands. The beauty industry is booming in Korea and becoming a serious competition to western brands. The easiest way buy Korea products is ordering online. There are different price ranges and many sites that offer international free shipping. Here are some reliable Korean

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion for cystic acne

I have battled hormonal acne since I was a teenager. Now in my mid-twenties I have it more or less under control. My current skin care regime has drastically improved my skin but I am still experiencing occasional minor outbreaks/pimples.
The most horrific pimples you can get are cysts, you know these

Make-up setting spray MISSHA: Fitting Wear make-up Fix

As I have combination skin I’m constantly looking for products that will help my make up last longer, especially in the summer. You may know that there are setting sprays on the market, but I have never used them before for make- up setting. I guess its because I’m somewhat afraid of a bad skin reaction, breakouts etc. Isn’t it also kind of strange to spray mist on your face after applying make-up?. ..However, when I saw this Missha setting spray

Caudalie Lip Conditioner an anti-oxidant and moisturizing lip balm

How many of you use Lip balms regularly ? If I don’t take care of my lips they become chapped and dry, especially in the winter. Sometimes they crack open and I have the urge to bite on them, gross I know (. So it’s actually necessary for me to use lip balms. However, most lip balm

Hada Labo Hydrating Light Lotion

If you are interested in Japanese skincare like me, you are certainly familiar with the brand Hada Labo. Japans bestselling hydrating lotion! The moisturizing effect is apparently so amazing that the Hada Labo lotion

Shiseido Aqua Intensive Lotion for damaged hair

If you are anything like me, whit frizzy curly rebellious hair, you are probably always looking for the perfect hair products to get your hair under control, but at the end without any luck. So I'm always searching for new products, without sulfates, silicon’s, fragrance etc. I have a sensitive scalp so it’s better for me to avoid that kind of ingredients.

Chanel Precision Eye Tonic Dark Circle Corrector

Chanel skincare is quite expensive so I would hesitant to buy it. I have tried several skin care products from Chanel, they are okay but pricey for what you get. I think it’s more of the feeling “wow I have Chanel”

Grape Water mist - Caudalie Eau De Raisin

Caudalie is one of this 'famous French pharmacy' brands, known for its use of grape and wine extracts in skincare. I like skincare that uses natural ingredients and the idea of grape antioxidants  is very appealing to me. Some of the products have

CURE natural aqua gel - Japans No 1 exfoliator

I was looking for an alternative, without the use of harsh acid. Cure Natural Aqua Gel is a Japanese creation that is a sensation in Japan and in other Asian countries. It's Japans bestselling exfoliator, every 12 seconds 1 bottle is sold !

Soft and silky Clinique All About Eyes

Many of you probably like me struggle with dark circles under eyes. I would even categorize myself into the group of : 'severe' dark purple under eye area. It seems that nothing that I do really helps in the long run. Only temporary reliefs by using some cool /hot mask and eye gel patches. The Clinique All About Eyes is an eye cream that's really popular and is Clinique's bestselling product. I am always desperately searching for an eye cream to help me with this purple circles (you can even see visible veins OMG) and dry skin in this area. Not many under eye creams seem to work on me, it’s so difficult to find a good one, so I couldn’t wait to start using the Clinique All About Eyes.

Clinique claims;  Clinique All About Eyes;  Ophthalmologist Tested. Moisture-rich formula diminishes the look of under eye circles, shadows, puffs and fine lines-immediately and over time. Helps boost natural collagen production. De-puffs with calming botanicals and even strengthens skin's moisture barrier against common irritants.

I have the sample size jar  (5mL), but even this small  tube can last you very long. I have been using it now for about 2 months and now and there is still a lot of product left. It's to bad the product come's in a jar instead of a tube, it would be much more hygiene, better preserving ingredients and easier to use in a tube.

The texture seems very light-weight with a light peachy creamy gel. It spreads easily onto the skin and absorbs fast in a couple of minutes. I have a dry eye area and this cream moisturizers very well. The peachy color of the cream can neutralize dark circles , but for this you would need to apply a lot of product I guess.

I have been using it for 2 months now, I can say, it’s doing a great job moisturizing the area but not so much for dark circles. The eye area feels soft and supple after application but could be to moisturizing for oily types. In this case I would advise using a very small amount of product. It also seems as if my under eye skin got a little bit thicker!

My eyes are normally over sensitive, it doesn't matter what I use I can get itchy red eyes ( so like expected, sometimes, my eyes got irritated using this cream but not as much as with other eye products. I'm actually happy about that, if I’m careful during application there is no irritation. One of the most important expectations I have from an eye cream is to help me with my dark circles , unfortunately, this cream doesn't do that for me.

This cream seems more suited for you if you have no dark circles or just light circles. I would repurchase it again if I didn't duffer so much from dark circles.

-Gel like texture and light-weight
-Absorbs  quickly
-Makes the eye area appear thicker
-Suitable for all skin types (more for dry)

-Not really effective on dark circles
-Not cheap, 30 euro for 15ml/0.5oz

Shield your skin from UV: Murad Sunblock

I must confess that for a long time I didn't know how important it is to protect your skin against sun rays. Despite having a medical science background I was careless to the effects of sun on my skin. I knew everything about skin cancer and the consequences of environment stress. But for some reason I never used tanning beds but considered tanning on the beach somehow ok. It's not that I didn't use any sun protection for my face, I did! But only on the beach. Apparently, it was not enough I got tanned and despite knowing that it's bad I was happy to have a "healthy sun glow". I know ridiculous but we were / and still are all influenced by the western tan - obsessed culture.

After getting older, now 26 and starting to care about anti-aging I realized that I was doing damage all this years. I developed some small lines on my forehead, nasolabial folds and visible pigmentations. I blame my behavior also on living  for some time in south France. The French brought tanning in the 20s (Coco Chanel they say, later made popular by Brigitte Bardot) and it became popular in western world. To my knowledge people in the US are becoming more aware of sun damage and use sunscreen, tanning spray salons etc. to get a fake tan. Nevertheless, the French didn't really adapt this habit and like to 'grill' in the sun. It's quit unpopular in France, especially in the south, to have a fake tan and everybody is expected to be naturally tanned. A fake tan is a no-no because you are living in the south.  When I lived there I was knew of photo aging and didn't want to tan a lot. I saw for the first time in my life so many French  girls/women with sun spots, pigmentations, freckles and yellow dull looking face. Don't get me wrong I don't want to offend French women and I'm sure many are using sunscreens. But In general I think a change in awareness of sun damage is needed. For more about this check this video out;,  its by a French blogger about the attitude of French women towards sun protection.
Despite 'me' using sun protection I burned several times on the beach, probably because I stayed in the sun between 12am-15am and didn't use enough sunscreen after taking a swim. Still, I remember one of my colleagues asking me why I looked so pale while living on the cote azure (I was tanned but not too much, apparently this was considered pale). I
This was an introduction to what led me to start using sunscreen on my face and think about the consequences could be if I don't. It's important to protect your skin everyday even in the winter. It's the best anti-aging cream you can get,  maximum UVA/UVA protection. Shield your skin from damaging UV rays!!!
One of  the first real sunscreen  that I started using was the Murad sunblock.

I had some small 30 ml  tubes that I bought from a beauty website here in Holland during a sale period, it must have been a year ago. The sunscreen is a chemical sunscreen. Chemical sunscreens work by absorbing the sun rays. The active ingredients are: avobenzone, homosalate, octinoxate, octisalate, oxybenzone.

Murad sunblock has full  UVA/UVB  protection SPF 30 waterproof formula, which utilizes three active sunscreens. It claims to resists water and free radical damage and helps lock in moisture and maintain skin firmness. Contains vitamin C,  Hyaluronic Acid and Phytolipids.
  • - Hyaluronic Acid is a very popular skin care ingredient with a lot of scientific proof, it boost skin's moisture content, reduce inflammation, has cell-communicating abilities and help prevent moisture loss.
  • - Vitamin C is my all-time favorite ingredient!  There is so much scientific research showings it's skin benefits. It Reduce the appearance of brown spots and other types of sun damage. Helps boost healthy collagen production.
The sunscreen promises to reduce inflammation and irritation, both of which cause a cascade of damage, fade post-breakout red marks by improving skin’s natural healing response and increase the effectiveness of your sunscreens and boosts your skins defense against UV exposure....
The instructions says to apply it for 30 minutes prior to sun exposure and reapply after 80 minutes the water or after excessive perspiring.

I used the sunscreen in the hot summer months especially on the beach,  because of the water proof claims. The texture is really thick creamy and difficult to spread, I didn't like that. However, it's water resistance and thus has a long staying power. My face is really sweat proof when I'm using it but it does have a white cast effect. The sunscreen didn't cause any breakouts or any other reaction on my sensitive skin. In general sunscreens tend to be drying, and the murad is no exception with its thick texture and mat finish. That's why I would use it only in the very hot summer days or on the beach, otherwise it's not moisturizing enough. For oily skin it's probably okay for daily use.
Overall I use this sunscreen during very hot days and when my skin tends  to be oily. If you want to buy the full size it's about 30 Dollars, it’s not expensive for the 125 ml full size product. Normally, face sunscreens contain 50-60 ml a tube.
I don't think I will repurchase it again in the near future,  there are many other brands I can't wait to try out , I'm now moving into the territory of Japanese sunscreens, nobody makes them so good as the Japanese; usually they tend to be lightweight  and cheaper compared to western brands. I also prefer a sunscreen with both chemical and physical filters. Physical sunscreens protect your skin from the sun by deflecting or blocking the UV rays where chemical sunscreen absorb UV rays. But the ingredients vitamin C (high in the  ingredient list) and Hyaluronic Acid are really good skin care ingredients.

-               good SPF protection 30 UVA/UVB

-               water resistant

-               sweat proof

-               oil controlling

-               contains Hyaluronic Acid and vitamin C

-               not expensive 30 dollars for 125 ml!

-               big full size product

-               a little bit of a whitish cast

-               not moisturizing enough for everyday use

-               contains fragrance  (may not suit sensitive skin)

-               to many chemical filters, (may also not suit sensitive skin)

Fighting acne with La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+)

Skincare is my favorite topic in the beauty world, but its so difficult to find a good product that really does what it promises to. I'm usually very careful with new products, especially with my dry-oily combination  acne prone sensitive skin!. I know it sounds very problematic.
I had tried several products from the French brand La Roche-Posay  and it's a brand that I trust! I find that it works very well on oily acne prone skin. Today I will review one of my must haves  products from this brand the : La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+)! I have suffered from acne since I was a teenager, trying many 'anti-acne product out there without real improvements? The only thing that kind of helped my skin were prescriptions from the doctor.

As I approached my mid-twenties my skin improved  due to hormonal changes. However, I refined a breakout from time to time. Not so much inflamed red pimples anymore but more like clogged pores which  can be red and stay forever. A while back I had one of this periods were my skin started to break out, so I got the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+) because of all the positive reviews and my previous I experience with the brand.

This version is actually an update (thats the +) that targets scars and blemishes. Here is what  the product promises (from the official site)

Roche-Posay introduces new Effaclar DUO[+] anti-blemish cream, specifically formulated to target the key signs of oily, blemish-prone skin. Clinically proven to correct the appearance of blemishes. Unclogs pores and refine the look of skin texture. This daily skincare solution is suitable even for sensitive skin......Complete care with reinforced anti-imperfection efficacy, thanks to Procerad, an exclusive anti-marks active ingredient.

Sounds great right, now about the ingredients, which are so important when it comes to skincare and it's effectiveness.
  • procerad™ is there patented ceramide that promises to protect against the appearance of red or brown spots by suppressing the excessive production of melanin that is present when spots first appear.
  • Further there is also Niacinamide,  a very famous and effective cell-communicating, anti-inflammatory ingredient. Many studies have shown that it increases barrier function and ceramide levels and also lightens hyperpigmentation.
  • Piroctone Olamine is an anti-yeast anti-bacterial ingredient, also used as preservative and antidandruff in shampoos. Here it's function is to combat bacterial proliferation on the skin.
  • LHA and Salicylic acid these are often used as acne treatments. Numerous studies showed  improved skin barrier function and increased collagen production. It's antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and exfoliating!  Additionally, very easily absorbed by the skin compared to other ingredients.
  • Linoleic Acid is anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and healing supportive ingredient. Furthermore, it penetrates the skin and can help facilitate the penetration of other active ingredients.

OMG it's amazing, what a great ingredient list ! The texture is gel-like and a little bit is enough to cover the whole face. I used it regularly when my skin was troubled and it definitely reduced redness and active acne. Skin cleared up, the red nasty pimples reduced in size! Every time when I feel like my skin is prone to blemish I use this product after cleansing. It's really good for combating oily skin, but much to drying for my combination to dry skin. When I used it as a moisturizers I had dry patches and my skin was dehydrated. But you can use a moisturizer after and the problem is solved. This is actually what I did later, used it like a 'treatment' before a moisturizer.  Nowadays,  after several facials and another skincare routine which I love, I still reach for this product every time I see some blemishes. The product gave my over sensitive skin no adverse reaction! The only thing I didn't like about it, is that it didn't do much for my clogged pores. I saw a reduction in clogged pores but still had many left (my skin is very problematic, others may not experience this).

Overall great product. A must have, will be on my dress table for a while.)

-     effective against blemishes and redness

-     Reduced appearance of red inflamed pimples

-     Takes down oiliness, anti - shine function

-     Good for sensitive skin

-     helps to unclog pores

-    Not expensive compared to other brands, 20 euro for 40 ml tube in a French pharmacie (maybe be more expensive elsewhere). Not very cheap but ingredients are so effective and well formulated

-not moisturizing enough for dry skin but this is ok because it's not supposed to be a real moisturizer

-did not really help  unclog 'many' pores
