Chanel Precision Eye Tonic Dark Circle Corrector

Chanel skincare is quite expensive so I would hesitant to buy it. I have tried several skin care products from Chanel, they are okay but pricey for what you get. I think it’s more of the feeling “wow I have Chanel”

“its gorgeous packaging and a famous name”, rather than the quality and ingredients that make us buy it. When I saw this Eye tonic on sale 30%, I was tempted to buy it. Its Chanel and I have terrible eye bags, ready to try everything.
The Chanel Precision Eye Tonic Dark Circle Corrector promises to stimulate the production of collagen ,soften symptoms of fatigue and adds luminosity to the eyes. Special ingredients are lipotripeptide and Bioflavanoid extract.
Chanel says: A powerful lipotripeptide (protein derivative) slows down the degradation of collagen and stimulates its production to diminish the appearance of dark circles. The skin appears less transparent. Bioflavanoid of mandarin and extract of horse chestnut to boost circulation of the eye area. Extract of licorice revives and stimulates the eye area for a brighter look.

The glass bottle looks simple but is really beautiful and elegant. The bottle surface is white and matt. Packaging is small and very travel friendly. One of the advantages of luxury skincare is the design of the packaging, its functional and gorgeous.

The product is applied by a metallic ball in the middle. It feels cool and rolls easy on the skin. The serum is a liquid with a whitish color, which looks clear when applied under eyes. This is not moisturizing enough for the night, after it absorbs I usually apply eye cream. One roll under each eye is enough, the bottle will last you a long time, mine is almost empty after 5-6 months.
I see a slight improvements in dark circles and especially under eye swelling. I like the texture of the product , its milky and rich ,can be moisturizing enough for the mornings. The best thing about this product is the cooling effect! However, the Chanel Precision Eye Tonic Dark Circle Corrector is expensive and you definitely can find something cheaper doing a similar job. Get it if you have extra to spend )

Pros

  • Fine texture, milky rich
  • Absorbs fast and is moisturizing
  • Cooling effect
  • Gorgeous packaging , glass bottle
  • Reduces swelling under yes
Cons
  • Expensive, 35 euro for
  • Only slight improvement in dark circles
